ACFIC launched Belt and Road information service platform

The Belt and Road information service platform, as essential part of the construction of “ACFIC online”, is a major step to further and better help private economy participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, which is also an important practice of using Internet and big data to help the healthy development of private economy and entrepreneurs.
 
The platform mainly has four modules including information regarding related news, online training, professional service and overseas project cooperation.
 
The news module highlights information about the Belt and Road construction.
 
It consists of front-page story, news, international exchange, policy and regulation, Belt and Road observation, overseas industrial parks and “going out” enterprises and so forth.
 
The news column includes latest domestic and overseas information, related policies, investment guidelines, experts’ analysis and typical enterprises cases and shares experience of how private enterprises participating the Belt and Road construction with the help from ACFIC and its branches.
 
In the “international exchange” column, there are information on 172 countries and regions, 274 overseas industry and commerce associations and 101 overseas business chambers.
 
In the “overseas industrial parks” column, there are briefings on 60 overseas trade cooperation zones regarding their location, traffic, investment businesses, development and service.
 
Since the breakout of COVID-19, the platform has opened a column of “epidemic prevention and control”, which provides information of related policies and latest epidemic news, so as to help the “going out” private enterprises better combat the pandemic and restore production.
 
The second module is online training, which is mainly about online lectures regarding epidemic prevention and control, compliance management, risk prevention and investment policies.
 
Private entrepreneurs can attend such online training anytime anywhere.
 
So far, it has posted lectures on epidemic prevention and control and overseas investment risk prevention.
 
The third function is providing professional service by introducing  relevant professional service agencies into the platform. The platform can offer legal, accounting, security, credit insurance and other professional consulting services for enterprises “going out”.
 
Private enterprises can register on the platform and then file questions online, which will be answered respectively by relevant professional service agencies.
 
The fourth module is overseas project cooperation. It will release information on exports and imports, project construction, investment cooperation and play a bridging role for the enterprises interested in overseas cooperation.
 
Besides the above mentioned functions, the ACFIC has also been working on building a database on private enterprises participating in the Belt and Road construction, which in the future will provide data service for ACFIC branches, business associations and private enterprises.
 
In the meanwhile, ACFIC is also speeding up developing mobile application for users to browse the platform via mobile phones.
