  Meeting on China’s renowned private enterprises helping Jiangxi’s high-quality development was held in Nanchang, capital city of Jiangxi Province, on Dec. 18, 2019.

  

  Gao Yunlong, vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and Liu Qi, secretary general of the CPC Jiangxi committee and head of the provincial branch of the National People’s Congress (NPC), attended the meeting and made speeches.

  

  Xu Lejiang, vice minister of the United Front Work Department (UFWD) of the CPC Central Committee and executive vice chairman of ACFIC, attended, while Yi Lianhong, governor of Jiangxi Province presided over the meeting.

  

  Gao Yunlong extended congratulations to the meeting on behalf of the ACFIC.

  

  He said the Central Economic Work Conference concluded on Dec. 12 analyzed the present economic situation and proposed six major issues for 2020, which should be studied especially by private enterprises and all branches of the ACFIC so as to carry out related work.

  

  Jiangxi is known as the cradle of China’s modern revolution, the new China and the people’s army, and was the origin of Chinese labors’ movement, which had made great contribution to the founding and construction of the People’s Republic of China.

  

  The CPC and the central government have been paying essential attention to the development of Jiangxi. President Xi Jinping had visited the province twice for field study.

  

  For Jiangxi, holding this special meeting was also an action of implementing Xi’s remarks on supporting its high-quality and leapfrog development.

  

  Jiangxi has hospitable people, friendly eco-environment and sustainable business environment.

  

  Gao hoped that the enterprises attending the meeting would take the opportunity of Jiangxi’s development and explore market and cooperation in sci-tech innovation, agriculture, civil affairs and charity work so as to make a win-win development of both their corporation and Jiangxi Province.

  

  He hoped that private entrepreneurs would stay confident with China’s economic development and make an in-depth understanding of related policies and grasp the chances brought by the institutional reform of “reducing government’s examination, administrative innovation, and improving high-quality service”, and by the scientific progress, globalization and China’s population advantage.

  

  He asked private enterprises to continue the innovation-driven strategy and keep improving corporation’s core competitiveness so as to lead the corporation to the high end of the industrial chain.

  

  He also suggested private enterprises to improve corporation management and mechanism in a modern way so as to maintain their companies’ sustainable development and become “classic brand” and world class brand.

  

  Liu Xi on behalf of Jiangxi government expressed appreciation to the ACFIC and the entrepreneurs attending the meeting for their support and help with Jiangxi’s development.

  

  He said the meeting attracted national renowned entrepreneurs to enhance exchange and deepen cooperation, which would inject new strong impetus to the high-quality development of the province.

  

  He said that Jiangxi had made remarkable social economic achievement by working along with the nation’s steps and had demonstrated vigorous potential with more convenient traffic, stronger economic momentum, perfected platform and clearer eco-environmental advantages, which brought more opportunities for private enterprises.

  

  He hoped more private enterprises to join in Jiangxi’s market and share its development fruits and lead their cooperation to a new stage.

  

  He said that they would make more efforts in helping private enterprises by deepening the institutional reform of “reducing government’s examination, administrative innovation, and improving high-quality service” to form a “four best” business environment for private enterprises including “best policy, lowest cost, best service and best efficiency”.

  

  “We’ll try to build a good atmosphere for entrepreneurs and build a close-and-clear relationship between government and businesses, and try to avoid interrupting corporations without company’s asks. We’ll try to make private entrepreneurs to invest, develop and live with relief.” He said.

  

  Wu Zhongqiong, vice governor of Jiangxi, made a promotion campaign on Jiangxi’s investment environment on the meeting.

  

  ACFIC’s vice chairman and chairman of Chint Group Nan Cunhui and Xu Guanju, vice president of ACCIC and chairman of Transfar, spoke on the meeting on behalf of private entrepreneurs attending.

  

  According to the data released, there have been 1270 investment programs made by private enterprises in Jiangxi with the total sum reaching more than 722 billion yuan, among which the second industry accounts for 967 project valuing over 531 billion yuan and the third industry takes up 251 programs pricing over 181 billion yuan.

  

  The meeting also witnessed 36 cooperation programs signed on spot.

  

  The meeting was co-hosted by the ACFIC and the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province.

  

  Leaders from the ACFIC, ACCIC and the ACFIC’s executive committee, and from the provincial government departments attended the meeting along with more than 600 private entrepreneurs from all over China.
